Thanks Stephan for your feedback. I will study the use of the ICMH-Angular-Encoder IC from iC-Haus and probably magnets from Bomatec. I am licensing the Biss I/F, which is free of costs, to implement the I/F as part of the diagnostics and programmability functions on top of your ICs. A wealth of functions and capabilities that do require and make it posible to develop a powerful and flexible concept. I guess this will enable me to offer interesting Know-How as consultant!

Hello Hellmut,

what means high resolution to you? Typically, this kind of sensors achieve (usable) resolutions from 8 to 12 bit.

Good sources for the sensors are for instance iC-Haus, AMS, or Sensitec. Most of them should also have samples for you.

Good sources for the magnets are Bomatec, MS Schramberg or IBS Magnete. For standard sizes they should also have samples available.

Stephan

Dear friends

I have purchased the stepper motor QSH2818-32-07-006 via Reichelt. I would like to develop a pcb two use a magnet and a hall sensor to detect the position of the axis as precise as possible as done in the modules available from Trinamic. From which source do you recommend to purchase what magnet and what hall sensor. My goal is to achieve a high resolution solution. I would develop the PCB.
